WELCOME TO JOHNSON COUNTY NURSING CENTER

Thank you for visiting Johnson County Nursing Center. We are committed to enhancing the life of our residents by meeting their physical, medical and psychosocial needs. We believe enhancing life's journey happens through meaningful relationships and activities along with compassionate care.

I invite you to read about our organization on this website, however getting to know us really happens with a personal visit. We welcome you to come in to meet our staff, tour our building, sit by the fireplace, play with one of our dogs or cats and ask the questions which are important to you.

We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, sex, national origin or payer source. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance & Private Pay. Our residents range from age 50 - 102 with the average being 83 of the 112 residents we serve. We employee approximately 130 staff to help us succeed in meeting the needs of our residents with more than 80 in the nursing department.

Since 2003 we have been in the process of transforming our organization from an institutional model of care which has been common for more than thirty-years to a 'resident-centered' care model promoting resident choice, resident schedule, resident first.

Like our residents; we too are on a journey in life. And with each journey comes change, expectations, excitement and new opportunities.
